Apparently just cleansing it once with bar soap isn’t enough.

I’m sure by now all of you have heard of the Clarisonic. It’s a newish machine designed to clean deeply to remove the dirt, debris and oil that clogs pores and causes imperfections and dullness.

I was so incredibly curious, so I bought one. Well a dupe. There are plenty of dupes out there, I chose the cleansing brush by Models Prefer.

The brush works to deep cleanse to target problem pores and improve skin tone. It has four attachements that are pretty much all super great, except the massager cause why wouldn’t I just pay a small man/woman to massage me?

So here’s a little de brief of the brush attachements!

1. Massager

Look this is the one where I don’t really understand. I mean what’s a small massager with three tiny attachments going to do? My bet’s on nothing. If you figure out how or why it’s used, let me know.

2. Sponge

This attachement is used to apply moisturiser. This is a little bit of a head scratcher for me. I understand the aspect of not wanting to apply the moistuiser with your fingers to add oils and dirts back into the face after cleansing but I think the sponge draws a lot of the moisuriser, meaning you either have to keep re-applying or you simply don’t get as much product on your face.

3. Sensitive Skin

This attachement is perfect for me as my skin is generally quite dry and cannot handle harsh products let alone bristles rubbing against it. The bristles are incredibly soft but once you get the brush going, you can defs feel the deep cleansing all happening.

4. Normal Skin

This brush is super harsh BUT is an awesome exfoliant. I used it for my nose, cheeck bones and chin as this is the roughest area of my face. It really gets the product deep in to your skin, it feels awesome! Hot tip: make sure you have enough batteries to use it (4) cause if you go home and have none and really wanna try it right away you will majorly dissapointed. Another hot tip: make sure to use the brush in circular motions whilst it’s on, it achieves the best results.

Now all you need to do is attach one and use it! Here is a happy snap of me using the brush.

If you have any more questions, let me know! It is super easy to use and incredibly effective.
