I’m not one for lipsticks, barely even lip gloss. But these nude lipsticks have me completely converted.

As a young girl, my mum always said lipstick never suited her and as I believed her when she said that pink and red will never go together, I believed lipstick never suited me either.

Considering you can find me almost 90% of the time with my nose in my Instagram app, it is really difficult to deny that lipstick is damn cool. I recently have decided it’s time to ditch my mothers age old philosophy and jump on the lipstick bandwagon, the nude lipstick bandwagon to be more specific. I mean really, how can you resist when you live in a world where your days consist of refreshing Kyliecosmetics.com just in case one the Lip Kits become available.

Maxfactor Maroon Dust, 735

A brown based nude, this lipstick is a creamy consistency, making it easy to apply and it actually lasts right up until you start munching on a burrito.

Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick, 200

A more of a pinky-nude but still a classic and basic colour, that Rimmel has made smell AMAZING!

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick, 42

A deep taupe colour that is very long lasting and doesn’t leave your lips feeling cracked and dry.

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick, 43

This one has a slight orange tinge to it and is more of a bold nude colour.

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick, 45

A little bit of a more pink toned colour, evens out the colour on the lip perfectly and of course, lasts for hours!

So there we have it! My favourite way to wear nude lips is with a nice light pink shadow, bold lashes and defined brows.

Is anyone else obsessed with nude lips? What do you wear it with?

Until next time,
